Autoinserate - Vorsicht vor Beschiss aus Uebersee!

Vorweg: Hey Mods, ich weiss nicht wohin damit, also fühlt Euch frei das zu verschieben, wenn es von Interesse ist.
Mein Bruder hat in D seinen Oldtimer, einen 1972er BMW 6 Zylinder inseriert, wir reden über 3900 Euro.
Da bekommt er Post aus den USA (vermeindlich) und der Typ will beim zweiten email das Auto unbesehen kaufen. Er schlägt aber eine komische Transferaktion vor und ich verstehe das Englisch nicht ganz, was bei einem Amerikaner schon merkwürdig ist.
Ich frage also einen Muttersprachler nach seiner Meinung und er sagt:
Der potentielle Käufer ist kein Amerikaner, kein Ami schreibt derart fehlerhaft englisch. Auch verwendet er die britische Rechtschreibung des Wortes "cheque" (US: "check"). Er erwähnt bloss einen "associate in the USA". Der potentielle Käufer schreibt bloss "Hello" ohne deinen Namen und verwendet die allgemeinen Wörter "item" (Artikel, Gegenstand) und "goods" (Güter) statt, was in diesem Fall natürlicher wäre, konkret das Wort "car", "automobile", "auto" etc. zu verwenden. Es tönt also wie ein allgemein abgefasstes Schreiben, das für alles und jedes eingesetzt werden kann.
Eine weitere Recherche bringt mich zu:

dort steht im ersten Beschwerdebrief genau das Gleiche, sogar mit den gleichen Fehlern!!!!! Ich bin fassungslos und wollte diesen wohl versuchten Missbrauch bei Euch kund tun. Lest mal, ist doch der Hammer oder?
